From Wenderholm to Stanmore Bay by Joanna

Today we walked 19km. We first wanted to walk from Wenderholm to Waiwera but most of the tracks were closed. By the time we found one that was open, it was decided that just three of us would do it, and meet the others for lunch.

The track itself was not nearly as difficult as we expected and was only 4km long. soon we met the others for a picnic lunch and then drove a little bit till where we were dropped off for the long walk to Jenny's brother's place.  At the beginning we walked along a beach, across a bridge and around a bay to get to Red Beach. Then lots of road and footpath walking until we discovered a path back to the beach. This was quite a neat walk, during which we scrambled over some pretty interesting rock formations.  But mostly it was long. It was hot. We were tired. My feet hurt.
