In which we set sail and become tree huggers

Our Sunday involved hopping aboard Jenny's brother's yacht and sailing to Tutukaka. Jenny's brother David - around 67 years old - had to climb the mast to unhook the sail rope. You can see him up the mast in one of the photos. He's very small as he was along way up.

Once sorted we set off for Tutukaka. The trip took 7 hours and was relatively uneventful. I would have preferred choppier water and a few whales or at least dolphins. However, like plane trips, uneventful seagoing voyages are the ones most people prefer.

After this we took a 20 minute walk for the main reason of increasing our miserable step count for the day. I caught Jenny hugging a tree and decided to hug one myself. I hope they both feel better.

Tomorrow we are back into the walking.
